About the frame

This matte white wooden frame is created for those who want a bright, calm and completely clean, minimalist expression around your motif. The white lacquer has a uniform, full-matt finish, where the wood structure is completely hidden, so the frame appears sharp, minimalist and modern. The profile is built up with a 20 mm wide front and an external depth of 20 mm, and the front's 5 mm overlap provides a precise, secure framing without covering more of the image than necessary.

You can choose from all our standard sizes, and the sizes always match the dimensions of the glass and backing. This means that a frame of, for example, 50×50 cm fits perfectly with a poster of the same size.

If you want to use a passepartout, you need to go up one size in frame. Example: A 60×60 cm frame in combination with a 50×50 cm passepartout gives an approx. 5 cm wide passepartout edge all the way around. Passepartout can be purchased for all frames.

Glass selection

The glass has a big impact on both the appearance and durability of your framed image. Here is an overview of the four types of glass you can choose for this frame:

Acrylic glass (plexiglass)

A safe and lightweight choice, perfect for large formats and homes with children. The shatterproof material makes it easy to handle, and when the foil is removed, you get a clear surface with the familiar reflections you also see in regular glass.

Normal glass

A classic glass choice that provides sharp colors, good contrast and the visible reflections that often give the motif a traditional, timeless expression.

Non-reflective glass

This glass has a slightly matte surface that significantly reduces glare. This makes the subject easier to see in rooms with strong daylight, many lamps or large windows.

Museum glass

The most exclusive solution. Museum glass is almost completely invisible, minimizes reflections and provides around 70% UV protection, so the colors are preserved for many years. Together with the UV filters that are already found in modern windows, your motif receives excellent overall protection. The experience is reminiscent of seeing the motif without glass — only with optimal preservation.

Choose the type of glass that best suits both the subject and the lighting conditions — it makes a bigger difference to the overall impression than you might initially expect.
