About the frame

This light oak veneer frame is designed for those who prefer a calm, Nordic look with a bright and harmonious wood tone. The colour is soft and neutral, making the frame elegant without drawing unnecessary attention. The veneered surface ensures a consistent and predictable appearance compared to solid oak, where variations in structure and shade can be significant.

The profile is 20 mm wide and 30 mm deep. The front overlaps the glass and backing by approx. 5 mm, ensuring that the poster sits securely without covering more of the motif than necessary.

The back features strong metal hangers for both horizontal and vertical placement. The frame is lightweight yet stable, and the veneer finish retains its beautiful appearance for many years.

The light wood tone makes this frame especially suitable for posters with muted or bright colours, where the goal is to support the artwork without dominating the composition.

If you prefer a narrower version in the same tone, we also offer light oak in 15×15 mm.

Glass selection

The choice of glass affects both the appearance of the artwork and the overall visual expression in the room:

Acrylic glass (plexiglass)
Lightweight and shatterproof — ideal for large formats, homes with children or public spaces. Appears clear once the protective film has been removed, with reflections similar to regular glass.

Regular glass
A classic option that provides natural colour reproduction and crisp clarity with visible reflections.

Non-reflective glass
A softly matte surface that significantly reduces glare. Ideal for bright rooms or environments with strong lighting.

Museum glass
The most exclusive choice — almost invisible, minimal reflections and up to 70% UV protection. Colours remain accurate, and the motif appears exceptionally clear.

Passepartout / Mat / Mount

If you want to use a passepartout, the frame must always be one size larger than the poster. Example: A 24×24 cm poster with a 3 cm passepartout requires a 30×30 cm frame.

We offer passepartouts in several colours, but for formats larger than 70×100 cm, only white can be produced.

Cutout
Measure your poster precisely and choose a cutout that is 1 cm smaller in both height and width. For a poster measuring 33×55 cm, the correct cutout is 32×54 cm. This gives an overlap of approx. 5 mm on all sides and ensures stable mounting.

Outer dimensions
The outer dimensions always match the glass size of the selected frame. Note that the glass, passepartout and backing sit approximately 5 mm behind the front profile.

Cutout position

Centered cutout: Symmetrical placement with equal distance to top and bottom.

Top-positioned cutout: Aligned with the top and sides, giving more width at the bottom.

Without cutout: The poster is mounted on top of the cardboard — ideal when signatures or motif edges must remain visible.

All passepartouts are made from 1.5 mm acid-free cardboard to ensure long-term durability.

Returns

You have a 100-day return policy on all standard products.

If you wish to return an item, simply use the included return label — the shipping fee will be deducted from your refund.

If a frame arrives damaged, we will of course send a replacement free of charge.
