About the frame

This light oak veneer frame has a calm, Nordic appearance with a bright and natural wood tone. The oak veneer has a subtle, harmonious grain and gives the frame a more consistent appearance than solid oak, where the natural variations in colour and structure are more pronounced.

The frame profile measures 20 mm across the front and 30 mm in depth, giving it a substantial yet elegant appearance. The front of the frame overlaps the glass and backing by approximately 5 mm on each side.

The backing board is fitted with metal hangers, allowing the frame to be hung both vertically and horizontally.

With its light and neutral oak tone, the frame works particularly well with both colourful and understated artwork. The natural wood adds warmth without drawing attention away from the motif.

If you prefer a slimmer frame in the same light oak finish, we also offer light oak in 15×15 mm.

Glass selection

Choose between four different types of glass depending on the size of your frame and the look you prefer:

Acrylic glass (plexiglass)
A lightweight and shatterproof option, particularly suitable for larger frames. Once the protective film has been removed, the acrylic glass is clear and has reflections similar to Standard glass.

Standard glass
Clear 2 mm glass with natural reflections and accurate colour reproduction. A classic choice that keeps the motif sharp and clear.

Non-reflective glass
2 mm glass with a matte surface that significantly reduces reflections and glare. Particularly suitable for frames placed in rooms with strong or changing light.

Museum glass
Our most exclusive glass. The 2.7 mm Museum glass is exceptionally clear, has minimal reflections and provides at least 70% UV protection. This gives you a very clear view of the artwork while helping to protect it from fading caused by UV light.

Passepartout / Mat / Mount

If you add a passepartout, the frame must be larger than your poster. For example, a 24×24 cm poster with a 3 cm passepartout on each side requires a 30×30 cm frame.

Our passepartouts are available in several colours. For sizes larger than 70×100 cm, only white passepartout is available.

Cutout
The cutout should be 1 cm smaller than your poster in both width and height. For example, a 33×55 cm poster requires a 32×54 cm cutout. This creates an overlap of approximately 5 mm on each side, keeping the poster securely in place behind the passepartout.

Outer dimensions
The outer dimensions of the passepartout correspond to the glass size of the selected frame. The glass, passepartout and backing are positioned approximately 5 mm behind the front of the frame.

Cutout position

Centered cutout: The cutout is centred, with equal passepartout width at the top and bottom.

Top-positioned cutout: The passepartout has the same width at the top and sides, with a wider border at the bottom.

Without cutout: The passepartout has no opening, allowing the artwork to be mounted directly on top. This is particularly suitable when you want the entire artwork, including signatures or edges, to remain visible.

All our passepartouts are made from 1.5 mm acid-free cardboard.

Returns

You have a 100-day return policy on standard products. Custom-made frames, passepartouts and box frames are excluded from the right of return.
