Overwhelmingly beautiful French poster from 1937, with the Pyrenees and the beautiful bridge Pont d'Espagne (the Spanish bridge) in the background. Pont d'Espagne is a stone-built bridge in the French Pyrenees approx. 1500 meters above sea level.
The colors that are razor sharp. A little wear and tear on the sides and minimal patina is the only thing that pulls the poster's stand down to 9/10.
The only thing that makes this poster not cost a fortune is that it is not as rare as most of our other posters. The fact that the poster is just so beautiful has probably made people take good care of their copy since it was printed in 1937. However, it is unlikely that a copy in this beautiful condition will be put up for sale again. This copy is # 18 made.
