A Life Relived in Memory, Johanne Luise Heiberg

A very rare poster from the publisher Gyldendal which promoted one of the greatest works in Danish literary history. The poster has text and a nice picture by the author Johanne Luise Heiberg, painted by Wilhelm Marstrand (1810-1873). This 4th revised edition was published in 1944, where we assume that the poster was also published.

Next to HC Andersen's "Mit Livs Eventyr" and Leonora Christina's "Jammersminde", "Et Liv gjenoplevet i Erindringen" is the most famous memoir in Danish Literature. We've never seen this poster from Gyldendahl before, nor can it be found anywhere else on the internet.

Condition: 9/10 - The poster has a small fold and a small crack on the right side, but otherwise it is in perfect condition.
