Original Soviet travel poster with German text that can be translated to: Leningrad, Intourist Moscow Swerdlow Platz 4. Represented by all the main travel agencies in the world.

Published by the state-owned Soviet travel company Intourist to promote the city of Leningrad (today St Petersburg) with an aerial view of a park with people walking along the wide paths with a statue of Lenin dominating the city skyline and the Peter and Paul Fortress visible in the distance.

This is a very rare poster, but we can find it in one other place for approx. same price. However, our copy is in much better condition and it is highly unlikely that a copy like this will ever come up for sale again.

Condition

10/10 - A small crack at the bottom, but otherwise perfect condition. We believe this poster has never been rolled out before! The colors and the stand in general are absolutely top class.
