Breathtaking Swiss travel poster from 1935 which promotes the city of Lucerne and Lake Lucerne. The lake is located in central Switzerland, surrounded by mountains and the four Waldstätten: Uri, Unterwalden, Schwyz and Luzern. The lake was formed by the Reuss Glacier 12,000 years ago.
We have seen the poster before, but this copy is the absolute most beautiful. The poster has a little patina and a stain on the right side, which can be removed, but otherwise it is in perfect condition. A really nice 9/10.
