Very rare and extremely beautiful vintage poster from Royal Mail, which was a British shipping company founded in London in 1839 by Scotsman James MacQueen. Here in the 1930s they got Kenneth Denton Shoesmith (1890 - 1939) to design this beautiful poster to promote travel to the fantastic city of Rio de Janeiro. Shoesmith was a member of the Royal Institute of Painters in Watercolors and of the British Society of Poster Designers .
